Winnipeg Police Service News Release:

Saturday, September 22, 2012     MALE SHOT C12-191645 On September 22, 2012, at approximately 2:00 p.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service including Paramedics responded to the area of Sargent Avenue and Langside Street due to the report of a male shot.   At this stage of the investigation, it appears that a firearm discharge took place resulting in an adult male being struck to the upper body. The victim was conveyed from the scene in unstable condition. He is now in stable condition.   Officers remain in the area and members of the Major Crimes Unit continue to investigate.      For further information contact either: Patrol Sgt.
